Hey, I'm Aidan.

I'm a Technical Support Specialist

I've spent the last 2 years working in the Cyber Security industry and have been scraping up as much knowlege as I can. - Lets connect!

Who Am I?

Hey! I'm Aidan, a self-driven tech entrepreneur, coding up a storm from my UK headquarters. I'm all about pushing my skills further, one line of code at a time and loving every minute of it!

By day, I work in cybersecurity as a Technical Support Specialist for Defense.com, a SaaS product. But my nights (and sometimes days) are dedicated to my tech passions: an MSP, an AI-powered creative studio, and an R&D project exploring the future of innovation.

Outside of work, im still a normal human being. On any weekend you can find me walking in the woods or spending time with my friends.

I'm passively looking for new jobs or positions where I can merge my new found love for code with my love for helping people. If you think you've got an opening that I might like, let's connect 🔗

Hybrid Remote

As a Customer Success and Technical Support representative for our cyber security SaaS platform, my role involves ensuring customers effectively use our software and addressing any technical issues. I provide troubleshooting assistance, answer product-related questions, and work with the development team to resolve bugs. Additionally, I used to manage projects related to Penetration Testing, SIEM, and DPO, coordinating with teams and partners to meet customer requirements. I would monitor progress, address issues, and communicate with stakeholders.

Technical Support Advisor
Essex

During my time at Motocaddy, my main responsibilities revolved around providing comprehensive technical support. This included assisting customers, service agents across the UK, and internal staff through various channels such as phone, in person, email, and live chat. I was adept at answering technical questions and diagnosing issues remotely for a wide range of products, including over 25 electric golf trolleys and 30 accessories dating back to 2008. Taking ownership of cases was a key aspect of my role, ensuring that I saw each support case through from start to finish. I prioritized effective communication and learning from superiors, rather than relying solely on basic escalation procedures.

During my time at Biggleswade Academy, I was responsible for various tasks within a school setting, including 1st and 2nd line support, hardware and software troubleshooting, Active Directory tasks, G-Suite administration, antivirus administration, daily communication with school staff, and meeting SLAs and KPIs. I also played a role in transitioning students to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, which involved deploying mobile devices and working with the Department of Education. This experience also exposed me to networking hardware, protocols, hardware troubleshooting, technical language, and working with children.
